Reviews of Tahoe City Retreat with Hot Tub**Winter Heaven!**   Cornholyeo Reviewed by Gatuso on 2/18/2010 This property was excellent and the price was reasonable, making it a great value. We loved the home and it had a great location between Tahoe City and Kings Beach. Overall the house was comfortable and homey, but there was a bit of clutter from the owners personal effects, as well as several locked closets. The televisions could be updated, the bunk bed mattresses were hard, and the wireless internet did not work. But the rental manager, David Kauffmann, went above and beyond our expectations for customer service. He made a house call after ATT told him they couldn't get the wireless up until after we left, and showed us how to get wireless from the surrounding neighbors networks on our laptops. He also reprogrammed the TV remote, which had stopped working. We were very impressed with Dave, he was personable and articulate, more salesman than a handyman.
