Located on Pinnacle Loop, this home has wonderful views of the mountains and is just minutes from Truckee and a short drive to all the major North Shore area ski resorts, Donner Lake, and Lake Tahoe. This modest but clean and comfy home will sleep 9 people max.
Tahoe Donner is a wonderful, mountainous resort community with its own small downhill ski area, a fantastic cross country ski center, a sledding hill, small market/deli, and Recreation Center. The Rec Center offers hot tubs, heated pool, fitness center, saunas, health spa, tennis courts, downhill and cross country ski resorts, equestrian center, Golf Club with 18-hole course and driving range, a public restaurant (The Lodge at Tahoe Donner), and a private beach on Donner Lake.
Tahoe Donner is conveniently situated at the upper west end of Truckee. It is 5 minutes to downtown shopping and restaurants, and 10-30 minutes to ski area resorts including Tahoe Donner, Northstar at Tahoe, Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Sugarbowl, Soda Spring, Donner Ski Ranch, and Royal Gorge Cross Country Center.
This rental includes access cards for the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center resident amenities. A nominal charge applies for some activities.

Reviews of Pinnacle View *Gorgeous Views, Pets OK*   Great place for a family retreat Reviewed by Cathy on 1/21/2010 Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving together at the Pinnacle view rental. There were eleven of us there for dinners, seven slept there, and we had plenty of room to hang out and visit. Our oldest member, Great Granny, at 93 had some trouble with the frozen steps, but we were all there to help her. Our youngest, age 2, was happy to have children's books and toys on hand. We were there for 4 nights. The kitchen was well equipted, the laundry room most welcome, the beds all right and we really had a great time. This is not a "luxury" accommodation, but sure beat a motel experience for getting together with people that you love. | | | | | | | |
