Welcome to the Mountain Hideaway. This home is located only 1.5 miles from town and around 20-30 minutes to many great ski areas.
The entryway has a bench and coat rack for winter items. Walk up a couple stairs and you are on the main floor. There are 2 couches (one of which is a Double bed if needed), TV/VCR/DVD, and wood fireplace. This area connects to a dining area with a wood table to gather for dinners. Walk out onto the back deck for coffee, BBQ's (propane)or a soak in the Hot Tub. The kitchen has a peak through counter with seating. The kitchen is fully stocked with needed cookingware and spices, electric stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of counter space.
This level also connects to the 2 car garage, lots of closets space and a half bath.
Moving downstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed along with a Single pull out sofa chair and a TV/DVD. The Master bathroom has double sinks, separate shower and jetted tub. Bedroom #2 has a Double bed with a small TV. Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed along with a Single bed. In the hall there is a shared bathroom with a shower and tub.
Tahoe Donner is a wonderful, mountainous resort community with its own small downhill ski area, a fantastic cross country ski center, a sledding hill, small market/deli, and Recreation Center. The Rec Center offers hot tubs, heated pool, fitness center, saunas, health spa, tennis courts, downhill and cross country ski resorts, equestrian center, Golf Club with 18-hole course and driving range, a public restaurant (The Lodge at Tahoe Donner), and a private beach on Donner Lake.
Tahoe Donner is conveniently situated at the upper west end of Truckee. It is 5 minutes to downtown shopping and restaurants, and 10-30 minutes to ski area resorts including Tahoe Donner, Northstar at Tahoe, Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Sugarbowl, Soda Spring, Donner Ski Ranch, and Royal Gorge Cross Country Center.
This rental includes access cards for the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center resident amenities. A nominal charge applies for some activities.
