Bike and ski rentals are even available across the street at the entrance to Squaw, where world class down hill skiing awaits- just minutes from house! In the summer, you can enjoy the serene setting on the river, and even take an invigorating soak in the hand made "plunge pool" on the river's edge by the patio area. The fabulous sunsets in the river canyon while dining on the back deck make this house memorable.

Reviews of Kudrna River House **At the Entrance to Squaw**  Riverfront Beauty, Great for Kids! Reviewed by Todd on 12/18/2009 We had a family reunion / vacation in the house. My brother's family (three kids ages 3, 5, and 8), my family (three kids ages 1, 3, and 5), and my parents. Everything was amazing!
Couple thoughts about the kids' setup:
There were no child gates for the stairway. If you have little ones who can't navigate stairways, bring your own gate.
The river was pretty fast-moving. My two littler ones couldn't handle it by themselves. My older one wore a life-vest while playing in the river, just in case. Although the deck was a great spot for hanging out, there was no "beach" area to be close to the kidlets while they were in the river. Basically that means that there was always an adult in the river with the kids when they were playing in it.
